Next up at the Commish, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, is the 2009 version of the uber successful Wakes Me Into group exhibition of 08.
Inspired by the loss of a close friend to cancer the group show sets to raise funds to help youth with cancer via the Alfred Foundation. the line up this year is….. um …. ah… well look for yourself, and try not to wet your pants. As with Wakes Me Into, artists have been targeted for their idea oriented process, and are responding to the title theme in any medium they see fit! On board this year is Jonathan Zawada, Jeremy Wortsman, Natalie Wood, Warren Taylor, Sally Smart, Round, Josh Roelink, Alter, Bec Parsons, Beci Orpin, Tim Barber, Justin Lee Williams, Huffer, Kelvin Ho, A Friend Of Mine, Lucy Folk, Famous VS, Kym Ellery, James Cameron, Jake Dashwood, Scottie Cameron, Büro North, Ben Ashton-Bell, Megan Voss and Michael Angliss.
